Black Pixel Luminance is a software development group focused exclusively on iPhone and Mac software development, and was conceived by Daniel Pasco and David Brown in late 2007. The group was formally pulled together in early February 2008 with the addition of long-time friend and enterprise development veteran Bil Moorhead and members of the Brain Murmurs technical staff. Sadly, David stepped down from the company in August 2008, citing family issues.
In addition to our existing Mac development efforts, we have been iPhone enthusiasts since day one, and were writing code for it using the unofficial developer toolchain well before Apple released the beta iPhone SDK. We have totally immersed ourselves in SDK development since its release, and have been porting all of our projects and code to the SDK in preparation for the June 2008 rollout of the iPhone application store.
As a team we present a unique blend of iPhone, enterprise, and handheld software development expertise that we have yet to see matched anywhere else.
To make useful, enjoyable software for people on the two greatest platforms available today: the iPhone and the Mac.
